Fatima Begum

Physiotherapist

Fatima has been a working as registered physiotherapist since 2013 in Canada, and is a member in good standing with College of Physiotherapy of Ontario& Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

She had completed Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai in 1997, and OIEBP Bridging Program in 2010 in Toronto. She had the opportunity working in Long-term Care, Hospital & Clinics in Canada where she gained experience & knowledge working with musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, MVA and WSIB injuries. She strives in assessing each client’s condition thoroughly and effectively, formulate individualized treatments plans, thus helping in resolving their condition. Musculoskeletal injuries interests her the most as she believes faster recovery is achieved with Active therapy – Flexibility, Strengthening, and Mobilizations techniques and guided HEP would help patients to achieve their functional goals attain a better quality of life.


Varleen Kaur

Resident Physiotherapist

Varleen is a Resident physiotherapist with a Masters degree in Neurological Physiotherapy. Her focus is on neuromusculoskeletal injuries in wide varieties of the population including post-surgical,postural dysfunction,geriatrics, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. She assesses the patient and imparts treatment in the form of joint mobilization, strengthening techniques, stretching techniques, postural education, electrotherapy modalities, taping and home exercise programs.

Varleen has special interest in Vestibular rehabilitation and Pelvic floor Physiotherapy and will continue to take courses related to these areas in order to upgrade her skills. She believes in developing an open and honest relationship with the client, guiding them through their challenges, and motivating them to accomplish their goals.

Outside work she enjoys spending time with family, reading books and travelling.


Piyanka

Resident Physiotherapist

Piyanka is a young, passionate, skilled and caring physiotherapist who graduated as a university topper in Masters from Sardar Patel University, India. She is certified in Mulligan mobilization, taping and manual therapy with specialization in spine-related disorders. She is also a registered PT in India and has successful and commendable work experience in outpatient clinics and renowned hospital-settings' sector since six years. She also possess a teaching experience as an assistant professor where she guided and trained young students and interns in PT college.

She firmly believes in evidence-based practice by providing both exercise-based and manual techniques in addition to client education and modalities to accelerate healing and return to function. She prides on her treatment programs as they are designed based on patient-specific limitations and restrictions.

She also believes that empathy is her greatest virtue and patient's compliance is the key to success.

During her downtime, she loves spending time with her family, reading books on self-development, as well as enjoys running and swimming.


Lily Guo

Registered Massage Therapist & Registered Acupuncturist

Lily has a dual role in Pacific Physiotherapy with certification as a Registered Massage Therapist & Registered Acupuncturist. She has been practicing Massage for over 10 years. She received an acupuncturist's license in 2017 to improve her skill in the field of rehabilitation. With over 10 years of experience & knowledge about the field, Lily can treat any musculoskeletal condition such as muscle tightness, ligament sprain, relaxing massage & deep tissue massage. As an Acupuncturist, She can treat internal problems including: Gastrointestinal issues, Stress Dizziness, Vertigo, frozen shoulder & many more. She likes to enjoy reading, traveling & listening to relaxing music in her free time.


Ritu Raj

Registered Massage Therapist

Ritu graduated with a Massage Therapy Diploma from the National Institute School of Beauty and Health Sciences in 2022. She is registered with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario.

Ritu has experience in a wide range of massage methods and techniques such as Swedish massage, stretching, trigger point release, tight fascia release, joint mobilization, remedial exercises and general relaxation massage. She is also certified to perform Cupping, Hot stone massage and Indie head massage.

Ritu joined the Pacific team in 2022. She believes in simple living and high thinking. In her spare time, Ritu enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and reading.


Naman Kaur

My Name is Naman. I have completed my grade twelfths studies from ST. Mary school India with medical. I came to Canada in I had further post graduate and completed Fitness and health promotion program from Durham college Oshawa campus I have experience of working in out patient department in various clinical setting during internship with one year of experience working as PTA in Canada. I gained knowledge in ultrasound therapy , self assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques and implemented them while managing patients and Also providing with IFC modalities. Apart from that I'm passionate about traveling and fascinated by mechanics of human body, anatomy and neurophysiology. I believe in learning and more about to curiosity. Further I am looking forward to serve you guys in my best.


Dr. Kewei Ma

Registered Naturopath Doctor

Dr. Ma obtained PhD from department of medicine at UBC/Vancouver General Hospital, and is a ECFMG certified MD, a licensed naturopathic doctor in Ontario and the USA. Dr. Ma’s PhD dissertation is about cancer, inflammation, pain, atherosclerosis, and neuroscience. Dr. Ma did fellowship in system medicine at McGill University Royal Victoria Hospital. With integrative background and approaches, Dr. Ma treats health issues in the cardiovascdivar, neurological, digestion, respiratory, urinary organs/systems, as well as cancer, pain, mental/emotional/spiritual, reproductive/sexual, aging and skin issues. Dr. Ma’s hobby is connecting with the nature of all seasons in southwest Ontario.


Santosh Yadav

I graduated with Bachelor of physiotherapy degree in 2011. Motivated to enhance my academic knowledge and sharpen clinical skills, I completed Maters of Physiotherapy with specialization in orthopedics/muscdivoskeletal sciences in 2015 from New Delhi, India. I was awarded ‘University first rank holder’ for my outstanding academic excellence. Presently, I am registered in good standing with college of physiotherapist of Ontario, Canada. I also had license to practice physiotherapy in Nepal and India in the past.In my clinical career, I have worked at various super specialty hospitals and private practice clinics treating patients from acute injuries to chronic illness requiring physiotherapy care. I believe that a sound understanding of normal human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics are key in treating various injuries and dysfunctions. I focus substantially on detailed initial assessment as I go with the philosophy of ‘Listen to Your Patient’. My physiotherapy care plan is always patient centric, goal oriented and customized with manual therapy and exercise science. I like being updated with recent advancements and do extensive literature reading for evidence informed practice.I believe in family values and love to be rooted with my origin; thus, I spend available time with my family. I love cooking for my family as much as I love physiotherapy. One basic similarity that I noticed is both requires a lot of patience for the best outcome.

After graduating from Sheridan College with an office administration Diploma, I have over 15 years of experience working in different office environments within Chiropractic and Physiotherapy offices. Along side work I enjoy my time doing things like, spending time outside on walks, going out with family and friends and traveling. I have expanded my knowledge earning a diploma in the field of PTA/OTA. I enjoy pursuing new things and will continuing adding to my knowledge as I balance life and work!

Dinisha is a Resident Physiotherapist registered with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario. She completed her Graduation in 2017 from India. She has a diverse working experience in a variety of settings including hospital-based physiotherapy, outpatient orthopedic clinics, private physiotherapy clinics, and seniors wellness. She utilizes a combination of certain manual therapies like Joint mobilization, Myofascial release techniques, Transverse friction massage, Proprioceptive training, and Balance and coordination improving techniques, to help the patient reach their functional goals according to their needs. She believes in updating her knowledge from time to time and enhancing her skills for providing the best possible care to her patients. In her free time, Dinisha likes to travel and read books.
